Description

What makes the system different and what tasks it is typically chosen for.

Linolit® 12 joint filler is a compound for rapid sealing of construction joints and exterior elements of concrete structures, as well as for prompt repair of defects. Due to its high adhesion and water tightness, this modern product is increasingly used in practice.

Characteristics:

  • Complete tightness — the compound’s flowability ensures maximally close contact with concrete over every application area. When filling purpose-made expansion joints or joints between concrete tiles, the sealant level is easy to control and it self-levels naturally. This greatly simplifies joint sealing and speeds up work — especially important on industrial-scale areas.
  • Elasticity — essential over the long term. Concrete undergoes deformation with temperature changes and other factors that affect its volume. A joint filler that seals the surface and prevents moisture from reaching the concrete’s porous structure must be elastic to maintain bond; otherwise microcracks appear and the substrate degrades over time.
  • No shrinkage — does not impair structural strength. Maintaining the sealant’s volume improves usability and the coating’s appearance.
  • Homogeneous structure — identical composition throughout with no air inclusions, delivering uniform strength along the entire joint length.
  • High strength — the inherent wear resistance of polymer binders is enhanced with modern additives. The product has been tested and demonstrates high reliability under varied conditions and loads, including abrupt changes.
  • Ready for service quickly — gel time is 40 minutes; full strength is reached within 8–10 hours.
  • Cost efficiency — the balance of material cost, consumption, and service life justifies its use for concrete floors.
  • Aesthetics — easily tintable to any color while retaining strength characteristics.
