Description

What makes the system different and what tasks it is typically chosen for.

Linolit® RD® cement–sand topping is a powdered modified dry mix consisting of Portland cement, graded quartz aggregate, and compatible chemical additives and fibers.

Used as:

  • Base screed under decorative concrete floor finishes in Linolit® systems. The material is applied at a thickness from 10 mm and spread with a trowel.
  • Hardening material for fresh concrete floors (“wet to wet”), used during placement of fresh concrete. It is also used for leveling and finishing hardened existing floors (“wet to dry”) with medium traffic intensity. After application, the material is power-troweled to strengthen the surface and form a durable, high-strength top layer.
  • Standalone decorative topping: after application, the surface is ground and polished; the final appearance resembles a terrazzo floor.

Areas of application:

  • industrial facilities;
  • warehouse premises;
  • auto centers, parking areas, garages;
  • shopping malls and retail stores;
  • administrative, cultural and entertainment facilities.

Advantages:

  • high strength characteristics;
  • good cost efficiency;
  • ease of use and maintenance;
  • does not contain volatile solvents and is odorless.

The material is a dry, free-flowing fine-grained mixture. Supplied in 25 kg bags with original printed design.

Material consumption per 1 m²: 23,0 kg at a 10 mm layer thickness.
