Description

What makes the system different and what tasks it is typically chosen for.

PRASPAN® AC-C101 polymer acrylic coating is a single-component system for protecting and decorating monolithic wall, floor and ceiling substrates such as concrete, mineral construction mortars and steel structures. It contains fillers, pigments and functional additives in a suspension of organic solvents and resins. This acrylic polyurethane coating is available from us at a competitive price in Yekaterinburg and in 20 cities across Russia and the CIS.

The material is used in projects where economic considerations do not justify the use of full-scale polymer floor systems. Typical applications include auto repair shops, underground parking facilities, garages and service areas.

Key properties of the polymer acrylic coating:

  • excellent adhesion to monolithic substrates such as steel, concrete and basalt slabs, which is often not achievable with other types of thin-layer topcoats;
  • resistance to abrasive loads — maintains structural integrity and adhesion to the substrate even under regular heavy traffic;
  • resistance to temperature effects — at low ambient temperatures and other harsh environmental conditions the acrylic polyurethane coating retains its performance and protects the concrete;
  • protection of the substrate against moisture — does not interact with water and chlorides and prevents their contact with the concrete, thus preserving its structure and strength;
  • fast return to service — at 200°C pedestrian traffic is possible after 24 hours, and full cure and vehicle traffic are allowed after 48 hours;
  • easy application — only basic tools such as a brush and roller are required; the application method is familiar to any construction worker and does not require special skills or knowledge. Spray equipment can be used for large industrial areas;
  • tinting to any color — the material can be matched to any design concept and corporate color scheme.
To achieve the stated performance characteristics, the polymer acrylic coating must be applied only to a thoroughly cleaned surface prepared with a high-power construction vacuum cleaner.

Maximum recommended number of coats: 4.
