Description

What makes the system different and what tasks it is typically chosen for.

Praspan® PU-C101 AS is a two-component UV-resistant conductive (antistatic) semi-matte polyurethane floor paint for concrete.

The antistatic paint is used as a topcoat for protective and decorative coating of concrete floors against chemical and mechanical exposure. It is a cost-effective floor coating solution for facilities involved in the production and operation of electrical equipment.

Key properties:

  • high-quality decorative finish;
  • excellent conductive properties (surface resistivity up to 108 Ω);
  • reduces dusting and seals the surface;
  • increases impact strength and wear resistance;
  • fast drying;
  • provides chemical resistance (water, acids, alkalis, oils and fuels);
  • provides UV resistance — the completed floor does not yellow or turn green over time;
  • easy and simple cleaning of the finished floor;
  • economic consumption;
  • good hiding power, effective starting from a single coat.

The system is polyurethane-based. Its main components are acrylic resin, an antistatic additive, modifiers, pigments and a hardener in varying proportions.

Praspan® PU-C101 AS kit composition:

  • topcoat component — 26 kg;
  • hardener — 4 kg.

Kit mass: 30,0 kg.

The material is a viscous colored liquid without foreign inclusions. Filler sedimentation is possible.

Surface appearance: semi-matte.

Material consumption:

  • first coat consumption — 0,1–0,2 kg/m²;
  • subsequent coats consumption — 0,1 kg/m²;
  • Maximum recommended number of coats: 4.
