Description
Praspan® PU-C101 polyurethane dust-binding semi-matte concrete paint is a cost-effective solution for protective and decorative coating of concrete floors and walls in industrial facilities.
The material is used as a topcoat to protect concrete floors from chemical and mechanical exposure in:
- warehouses;
- parking areas, garages and parking decks;
- repair workshops, service stations and car washes;
- administrative and public buildings.
Key properties of the coating:
- provides a decorative appearance and aesthetic finish to concrete floors and walls;
- reduces dusting and seals the surface;
- increases impact strength and wear resistance;
- provides UV resistance — the finished floor and walls do not yellow or turn green over time;
- designed for both indoor and outdoor use;
- can be tinted to a custom color with approval of the final shade;
- high hiding power — effective starting from a single coat;
- fast drying;
- makes cleaning of the finished floor easy and simple.
Minimum surface preparation and application steps:
- remove contamination (laitance, paint and filler residues, stains of oils and fuels, etc.) from the concrete surface using a grinding/polishing machine;
- vacuum the surface with an industrial vacuum cleaner;
- apply Praspan® PU-C101 polyurethane coating in 1–2 coats.
Praspan® PU-C101 kit composition:
- topcoat component — 25,5 kg;
- hardener — 4,5 kg.
Kit mass: 30,0 kg.
The material is an opaque colored viscous liquid without foreign inclusions. Slight filler sedimentation is possible and must be thoroughly mixed in before application.
Surface appearance: semi-matte.
Material consumption:
- first coat consumption — 0,2–0,3 kg/m²;
- subsequent coats consumption — 0,1–0,2 kg/m²;
- maximum recommended number of coats: 4.
