Description

What makes the system different and what tasks it is typically chosen for.

Refloor® CT-PR2 repair mortar is a powder mixture consisting of Portland cement, hydrated lime, graded quartz aggregate and special modifying additives that increase adhesion, water-retention capacity, water impermeability and vapor permeability.

Key features:

  • high adhesion to the substrate;
  • no shrinkage;
  • durability;
  • fast and simple application;
  • suitable for both interior and exterior use;
  • consistent quality — manufactured off-site;
  • final strength is reached in 28 days; the surface can be treated after 12–16 hours.

Intended use

Designed for local repair of horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces, including after initial repair, at thicknesses from 5 to 120 mm and more when coarse aggregate is added.

Application

The mortar can be applied both manually and by machine. For manual application, use steel trowels, spatulas or floats. Apply the mix onto a pre-wetted surface, periodically compacting and smoothing it. If the depth of the defect does not exceed 60 mm, the repair mortar can be applied in a single layer. For depths greater than 60 mm, layered application is recommended, with each subsequent layer applied after the previous one has set. Before applying each new layer, the surface of the previous layer must be moistened. When a layer thicker than 120 mm is required, washed gravel (crushed stone) must be added in an amount up to 30% of the dry mix mass. For machine application, plastering machines of any brand can be used.

Consumption:

  • at 1 mm thickness per 1 m2 — 1,5 kg;
  • at 5 mm thickness per 1 m2 — 7,5 kg;
  • at 10 mm thickness per 1 m2 — 15,0 kg.

Water consumption per 25 kg bag: 3,25 L.

Workability time: 60 minutes at 20±2°C.
