Description

What makes the system different and what tasks it is typically chosen for.

Refloor® Screed C heat-resistant screed is a dry cement–sand construction mix with mineral fillers and special heat-resistant additives for leveling substrates and creating a durable concrete topping.

Refloor® Screed C is used as a standalone topping or as a preliminary leveling layer on concrete floor surfaces with subsequent installation of cement-based or polymer-based finish coatings. The material is a reliable solution for production areas and workshops where high strength of the substrate is required due to sharp and significant temperature fluctuations.

The use of this material is especially effective in metallurgy, for example in areas where spills of molten metal with melting temperatures up to 1500°C are possible.

Key features:

  • does not degrade under sudden high-temperature exposure;
  • can be applied in layers up to 150 mm thick;
  • rapid strength development (within 5 days);
  • light traffic loads are possible after 24 hours;
  • resistant to debonding from the substrate (adhesion properties are maintained);
  • crack resistant;
  • levels areas with height differences greater than 30 mm;
  • non-shrink;
  • can be used as a standalone finish layer or as a base for the final floor system.

The required thickness of Refloor® Screed C is determined based on the specific high-temperature service conditions. Information on the recommended layer thickness must be requested directly from the manufacturer.

When the recommended layer thickness of Refloor® Screed C heat-resistant screed is observed, the concrete substrate will not be deformed during long-term (several hours) spills of molten metal in case of accidents in production areas.

45 kg kit:

  • dry mix — 25 kg;
  • coarse aggregate — 20 kg.

The material is a dry, free-flowing fine-grained mixture. Supplied in bags with original printed design.

Material consumption per 1 m²: 25.0 kg at a 10 mm layer thickness.
